Thomas Huber,
Chief Development Officer

Thomas was involved in the build up of Granite Bio and has been involved in advancing the assets to the clinic in different roles within Ridgeline Discovery, since 2022. He joined Granite Bio as Chief Development Officer (CDO) in April 2026. Thomas' biotech experience has been developed and strengthened as EiR at the biotech incubator Ridgeline Discovery and as a C-level executive at Athebio. He has a strong background in therapeutic antibody discovery and early development through different roles held in pharma, such as Head of Research at Almirall from 2020 to 2022 and different roles at Novartis from 2007 to 2019.

Thomas received his PhD from the University of Zürich in the group of Prof. Andreas Plückthun. He is a biochemist and immunologist by training and is lecturing drug science at the University of Basel.
