Sofia Forte,
Head of clinical operations
Sofia joined Granite Bio in April 2023 with a background of more than 10 years of experience in delivering clinical trials in different settings, from hospital to pharma and from Phase I to large Phase III global studies. Prior to Granite Bio, Sofia worked at Novartis in different roles in Global Development Operations and Trial Management Strategy and Operations.
Sofia has a strong background in Biotechnology, and before moving to clinical development she was the head of a flow cytometry unit in Basel’s University Hospital and she led the laboratory operations in a Biotech startup company dedicated to the cryopreservation of cord blood stem cells.
Sofia graduated in Applied Chemistry, holds a Master and a PhD in Biotechnology and a post-graduation in Clinical Trials Management.
