Rima joined Granite Bio in March 2026 as Quality & Compliance Lead. Rima is a Senior Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager with over 24 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including more than 15 years in Quality Assurance. Her background covers GCP, GCLP, GMP, GDP and GLP regulated environments across big pharma (Novartis Pharma), biotech (Basilea & Idorsia) and clinical supply organizations (ThermoFisher clinical). She is recognized for her risk-based, pragmatic approach and strong expertise in audit leadership, regulatory compliance, and quality system strengthening in highly regulated international environments.

During her time at ThermoFisher Scientific, Rima was the GMP/GDP Quality Compliance Manager and Delegate Responsible Person, with overall accountability for site compliance, inspection readiness, audit leadership, and quality culture development. Prior to that, Rima worked at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd as Senior GCP/GLP QA Manager and at Novartis Pharma AG where she held multiple senior roles. She was accountable for end-to-end audit activities and acted as a key QA partner during health authority inspections. In addition, she contributed to regulatory CMC activities and provided QA oversight for European commercial affiliates.

Rima holds a postgraduate qualification (DESS) in Industrial Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy in Illkirch-Grafenstaden, France, and a master's degree in chemistry from the University Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg, France.
