Magdalena joined Granite Bio in February 2026, bringing over 20 years of experience in global clinical development across neuroscience and autoimmune diseases. She has worked on Phase I–III programs at Actelion/Johnson & Johnson and Roche, contributing to clinical development in Alzheimer’s disease, schizophrenia, multiple sclerosis, and other neuropsychiatric and inflammatory indications. Her responsibilities included design and medical oversight of clinical studies, data interpretation, safety monitoring, authorship of core clinical documents, and engagement with regulatory authorities and independent data monitoring committees.
Earlier in her career, Magdalena held senior clinical development roles at Arena Pharmaceuticals, supporting IBD and orphan‑disease programs. She began her industry career at Wyeth and Janssen Cilag, following several years of clinical practice as an internist and psychiatrist. Magdalena earned her MD from the Silesian Medical Academy in Poland and holds board certifications in Internal Diseases and Psychiatry.
