Kerstin Renner,
Head of Translational Medicine

Kerstin has >14 years of experience as certified investigator in conducting multi-center clinical trials (NIS, Phase II/IIb, III, IV). She has further been involved in the design and implementation of Immune-/Fibrosis-related translational studies.

As a researcher, she also spent several years in the laboratory, working on the analysis of patient material as well as planning and carrying out animal experiments in various models of autoimmunity, inflammation and fibrosis. Kerstin studied human medicine at the University of Regensburg, where she also completed her M.D., her habilitation and worked as resident physician in Internal Medicine at the University Hospital.
