Andrei joined Granite Bio in November 2025 as Medical Director, bringing over 16 years of experience in global clinical development and operations. Prior to Granite, he supported early immuno-oncology research programs at BioNTech, including first-in-human studies focused on primary safety, early efficacy, and defining recommended optimal biological doses. Earlier in his career, Andrei served as Medical Monitor at EirGenix GmbH and held clinical operations roles at global pharmaceutical and CRO organizations including AstraZeneca, INC Research, and Worldwide Clinical Trials. His contributions spanned registrational and pivotal Phase II–III studies involving novel and bioequivalent targeted and specialized medicines in oncology, hematology, cardiology, and rheumatology.

Andrei is a trained physician, having graduated from the Military Medical Academy in Saint Petersburg, with specialization in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
